Reupholstering Helm Deck

I can't seem to remove the speaker, the top plastic grill doesn't want to come off. Without removing plastic grill how do I remove the speaker, it must be removed to lift the helm seat out to reupholster, the helm seat has to be lifted upward to remove. It's the Formula speaker above the cup holder. Sorry for the image, couldn't rotate it, any help is greatly appreciated.

I did call TAG (Scott), the speaker is attached from behind and is a solid unit, no detachable grill. You must go through the A/V vent, push the duct work out of the way, reach back and remove the wing nuts holding the speaker. Unbelievable, harder than need be, but its a boat.

That is unbelievable, and I don?t know how you were even able to pull that off, I mean reach the farthest wing nuts, but congratulations to you, you did it!
