Shrink wrap

This year I built a new frame out of PCV pipe. For the past five  years I've used wood and it was getting old. Here it is almost ready. I left the bimini up to give me clearence to open the engine hatch.  This system work out fantastic if you don't have indoor storage since a zippered door over the swim platform allows access and the height and steep slope eliminates snow build up. Over past winters I've re done the dash and replace trim indicator cables. Working inside on a sunny day was done wearing jeans and a flannel shirt in comfort since it acts like a greenhouse ;)

If you made that a little wider, anchored it to the ground, you could just back the trailer and boat in! :D

Mo, is that a full custom cover you have or a semi custom?

Thanks

mark
Mark,
That's a full factoy cover. Nice , but it weighs a TON. Usually during the summer I just use a cockpit cover made of Top Gun material. It really takes two people to roll it back the deck(one on each side). Then you het to the windshield that's 7'11" high and that's hard to get over. It has straps that tie to the trailer and fits like a glove.

oke here my....... :-[ :-[

Hey,  I got the same one.  Is that the heavy duty cover?  The cover that came with mine lasted 2 winters.  I am waiting for the heavy duty one, thats why my baby has snow on her now.

It's a little early to talk about winterization...but where did you get the shrink wrap plastic stuff? Do you need a bonafide heat gun to shrink it? Is the plastic one big sheet or do you use strips of plastic?

I have it done by my local roviing shrink wrapper...with a real gun and propane tank and it comes off a GIANT roll.
