Smartcraft false alarm ?

I am getting a smartcraft alarm and the engine rpm limiter is coming on when I am running t higher rpm and when I go to the smarcraft display to check the active flat alarms it tells me ther are no active alarms .
Almost like a false arm of sorts. I have twin 8.1 horizon mercruisers on an 05. 34pc. All my diagnostics look good and I can't figure out what can be causing this

I have smartcraft also,and i get false alarms ,I was told
that if it did not stay in alarm history it is nothing to worry
about. I dont know if it is true,when i come off plane i think the oil pressure
goes down for a split second and triggers the smartcraft

Well, not sure about the false alarm, no active alarms...but if your engine seems to be going in to a RPM Limit mode, this seems very much like the built in Guardian Mode on your engine.

If you were simply getting an alarm, and no "signs" of a problem, I would agree with fathertime...but you are getting a engine issue.

When this happens...what are all the "reading" telling you.

Meaning...is Oil Pressure, water pressure, engine temp, etc..all normal ?
