Tachometer Stopped working

My tach and hour meter stopped working. At first the tach would sporadically stop measuring revs until it stopped completely. After a few times running it seems like the hour meter is not counting hours either. The meter reads hours, but its not counting.

Any thoughts on how I should tackle this repair?

First of all, swap out the techs to make sure it is in fact the tach. If it doesn't work, then trace the wiring back to the molex connector the tack leads go into. Make sure it is seated properly. The factory greases the connection up pretty good to keep corrosion at bay. Clean it and re-grease it.

If that doesn't do it, I may have a matching tach for you!
