After picking up my newly purchased 2011 Formula 45 in Holland Michigan, the admiral and I are taking her down to Lauderdale to put her on a ship bound for Thailand.
The plan is to take her north up through Lake Michigan to the top of Lake Huron then through Georgian Bay to the Trent-Severn waterways of Canada through to Kingston, Ontario. Apparently a very scenic trip but allot of locks to go through. We then proceed to Oswego to pick up the Erie Canal on to Albany down to New York. From there we make our way down to the Intercostal water down to Ft. Lauderdale.
We tend to start the trip around June 9th and we plan the whole trip to take us 5 or 6 weeks. If anyone thinks they may be in this area around any of these areas around those times, it would be fun to get together.
