Vacu-flush toilet pump running too often

Have been working on this problem on my '06 34PC for over a year. J pump system generates adequate vacuum but system does not retain vacuum pressure for more than a few minutes then pump runs again. No obvious leaks. Water is not sucked out of toilet. Vacuum switch appears to function normally and turns on pump when vacuum pressure falls. I guess the only thing left is the duct bill valves which were changed two years ago. Could they go bad in that short of time? My toilet system has a deactivated macerator with the sea cock closed. Could this be causing a leak somehow?

I have had small items... don get grossed out... like watermelon seeds get caught in the duck bills in the past.

I had the same problem. I put in new seals on both the inner and outer sides of the diaphragm. runs fine now. I swapped out the pump too which is 50% quieter.
and when I say "I", I mean the guy I pay to do these types of jobs...:)

I've had a tech try to fix same problem 3 times. We replaced the Head itself. Works fine now.

If all your hose conections are tight and toilet is holding water i would go to the duck bill valves. Shixxy job but probably the problem. Depending on usage I had replaced them in 2 years.
