Hello, I?ve been having shifting issues on and off with my Tamd74 engines. They occasionally do not go into gear. The boat rides fine once in gear but when trying to dock it doesn?t respond. I know it?s electrical and cleaned all the harnesses I could find. The weirs part is that it?s the port going into forward and the starboard into reverse. The newest issue is that when I try to start the boat the EDC doesn?t see neutral till I move the shifter levers and then back to neutral. When I was stuck the other day someone said try the relays in the control box. I took them out cleaned the contacts and it worked fine. Now I replaced all the relays and cleaned all the contacts again and still intermittent problems. I?m frustrated and don?t know what else to try. All ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
