Volvo / Garmin display

Hey folks. I?ve noticed in some other 45 Yacht pictures a different screen background and more information being displayed on the Garmin Volvo display.

Has anyone updated their software for this display and does anyone know what model my 2017 might be? I can call TAG, figured I would check here first.

We are launching for the spring soon, just figured I?d check into this prior to see if there are any new options.

I am not sure it is an issue of a software update. These screen's are customizable for owners input however I have not spent the time to program mine from what the previous owner had set up. I plan on making some customized screens this summer while I?m on the boat. Keep in mind that your Raymarine Screens can show engine data as well.

Here is a screen capture from a 45 Yacht that is for sale ( i cannot remember which one) that I really like and want to set up on my screen but I have not spent the time to figure it out as of yet. It looks good.

Turns out I did get some help from a Volvo Dealer and we have either a 7400/ 7600 Series GPSMAP. Spoke to Garmin and before updating the internal map, they need information off of the actual unit. That will happen after I get back in the water.

This is for a 7610xsv model, which should have some of the features that Volvo uses. Garmin builds the unit, Volvo decides what we get for features. I’m told there are updates available including Active Captain, so we shall see.
