Watching televisions while out on the lake.

New 400ss owner looking for options on watching TV while not hooked up to shore power or cable. Probably a dumb question but i'm a newbie. TIA!

One option would be to turn the TV on . . . :)

If you get a digital TV antenna . . . and maybe you need the 'converter' if it is an older TV. or just get a digital TV that has 12volt adapter.

We watch NFL football on Sundays during the fall season (mostly September). I got a reasonably portable digital TV and digital antenna and run it off of the 12volt outlet. I run the engine at half time just to keep the batteries from running down too much (run only on 1 of the battery banks, just in case)

Would you have an LTE signal?

If so, a $30 Chromecast in the HDMI input + your smartphone seems like a reliable and cheap option.

Thanks for the advice. After spending this much on the boat, might as well get the damn thing to where I can watch football in the fall while the wife's in the sun.
