Water Leak in 40PC

I have a water leak that's driving me nuts. Every once in a while I have a wet carpet in the forward cabin. I have laminante floors but the little side step has carpet on the side. There is no leak on top of the water tank under the bed. I' trying to watch more closley if it happens when I use dock water or when the tank is full. I'm trying to use process of elimination. It's a singificant amount because my cabin bilge has two+ inches of water at all times and pump constantly goes off. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.

Buddy, is it the step along side the forward bed? if so is one of the hull windows above it? could be the cause, check the sealant around the window on the outside of the boat.

The water lines should run down the port side from the water tank.

Another possibility would be the bow railing Rain water can get in if it is not sealed well at the base

Is the wet carpet on both sides? Lost a tv remote this weekend on the starboard side of the bed, lifted the mattress and took the lid off the starboard storage bin. Found the remote, it was damp in there, cleaned it out, noticed the blue water fill line goes through the compartment. I would not leave that 2" of water sitting in the bilge, sponge or vac it out regularly.

Water level may go down a bit, I'm going to pull the frig and look behing this Friday

I will also check the anchor locker.

Carpet was wet on Port one week and then the last two weeks on Starboard.

Also damp under cushions in cabin.

I constantly wet vac the cabin bilge. It is perfectly clean water, no smell.

Formula sent me these two pics. One is behind the frig where the pump is and the other is in the aft behind the cabinet. There are two access panels. I'll try to get my big self in there.

Steve, I'll check the port hole seals also. Thanks all for the advice. I need this like a hole in the head.

buddy that black thing in the middle of the second pic with the water lines connected is an accumulator, mine was cracked and leaking but it was located in the bilge, not the cabin. it looks like yours is inside the cabin area so maybe that is worth a look too.

I had a similar problem once. It was caused by the screened fresh water filter not being screwed in all the way. There was a slow but steady drip. I tightened it and the issue was solved.

Gentleman, I appreciate all the tips. I'm on the boat now and yesterday while water was running and pump going:

I checked the water tank and filed it from empty and no leaks while filling.

I checked the port floor/wall area under the sink where there is a little access panel, no leaks or wet areas. strainer ok.

Accumulator tank and all areas in both access panels dry while under pressure.

Too much water to come from AC.

The most disturbing thing is when I left the boat last Sunday I wet vac'd the bilge dry, came down Wednesday and had 2 inches in the bilge. Vac'd again and yesterday (Friday) had another two inches. No power was on, no pumps or anything. It did rain pretty good though.

Gonna pul frig and this morning and check pump area and anchor locker drain may be clogged . The pump doesn't kick on and off so the leak has to be before the pump or

OooooKKKKKK, I think I nabbed it. The water strainer under the sink was dripping about a drip per second. That's alot if you ask me. I saw a gentle stream of water running. So I touched it and it was very loose. I removed it and cleaned it out, hand tightened it and dried the bilge. So I think I'm good. If it wasn't so windy I would fire up the diesels and head to AC. Thanks to everyone that gave me advice. Have a great weekend.
