when to wax

I just had some paint repair and they had to re shoot the entire boat with clear to keep it from looking hazy where they blended from repair. I don't know why and don't think i really care. It was a repair not paid by me or warranty.

My question to you all because you respond much quicker is how soon can i wax the new clear coat? It waters spots really bad right now.

sounds to me that they painted your boat, not gelcoated it. base cote clear cote is an alternative, but no where near as good as gelcoat.
you can wax it right away, as it dries chemically. good luck.
