Where are you?

At the Beginning of the Sound and the beginning of the East River and enjoy going either around Manhattan and up the Sound.

Point Judith...But my Formula is at Rex's for the winter and my CC is at Ocean Performance in Old Saybrook. For some reason I love ending the season running down and starting it with a run up. Gets the year started off right.

Nice! We all have to have our traditions!! I start mine with a new bottle of Jeffersons Oceans Bourbon head to the boat and take the shrink wrap off and sit back and sip making a list.

I'm kinda personal to beer! And start with a great IPA called Be Hoppy! Yea, i'm a little subjective since the name is on my boat too. In fact I was just in Old Saybrook, Old Lyme, etc yesterday as we are rolling out the brand in that part of CT April 1st. Had lunch with JWiley and I think he helped me get on draught at the Rabbit Hole.

Yeah man, I'm a big fan of it and Trey Zoller and his buddy Chris Fischer and Ocearch. I collect the voyages and have 1 complete set, and two other sets just missing voyage 1. I'm figuring I can sell them and use it as a down payment on fuel for that great loop run that's on the bucket list.

Jeffersons Ocean is phenomenal! Great story too!

I'm with ya on that! I'm also a IPA guy, but have been off the IPA wagon for a couple of months and I just CRAVE it. Be Hoppy is great brew! My biggest issue is I have 3 local brewerys within 10 min of the marina!! And I have to pass one on the way to and from the boat. I'm DOOMED!!

everyone needs a break from the IPAs eventually. We call it pallet fatigue. Very few of our guys and gals go searching IPAs - we all go looking for pilsners, kolchs, etc because clean beers like that are not only enjoyable, but they really show a brewers skill level because they are super hard to make. And who can say no to stouts and barrel aged offerings this time of year?

Yeah true! I did get kinda burnt out. And as a byproduct its amazing the pounds you can drop off when you lay off the IPA's for a bit. Of course I'll never layoff the bourbon LOL
