Why are F3 LS's so rare??

For the life of me I cant find any info in the history of this model, 85 F3 LS. I get that it's not a popular model but there is literally nothing out there on the interweb.

Do any of the GURUs out there have any insight on why or how I can get more info on the F3??

I had a 86 F3 LS back in 95. They are great boats. Huge feel for a 21' boat.

Formulas website has a section for vintage brochures. There is a little info on them within the brochure...

What was your set up? Motor? prop? speeds? pics??

Mine had 350/alpha combo. 19p stainless 3 blade quicksilver prop, and ran around 53mph on the speedo...no gps back then.

I attempted a 454 at one point and had it near 60, but the alpha(s) wouldn't stay together. Put a small block back in it and sold it a short time after.

I'll have to see if I can dig up any pics. This was before digital cameras or phones...lol.

Mine is the same! Its currently got 14x20 on it. Speedo says 42mph, it sure if that's accurate.
