Any idea where I can get a replacement for just the part that opens up?

It's more than likely made by Bomar. You may have to contact Formula TAG to get the model # for the portlight installed on your boat before contacting Bomar.

Just curious what failed? Is it cracked? Leaking?

The plastic hinge piece is broken from the previous owner. It closes and doesn’t leak but it would be nice to open it from time to time.

The part number GC616-28SS is no longer used as we make part number G616-28SS (@ $230.00 each) to come standard as CE approved product. The lead time is 2 to 3 weeks. We also sell:

GS616-18 (black screen) @ $26.00 each

GP907-39 (smoked lens only with hinges spaced 4" apart) @ $61.00 each
