the forum seems to have been a little on the slow side lately so i thought i might post some info on my winter projects just for something to do and maybe even for your reading pleasure. advice, thoughts, heckling and verbal abuse are all welcome and appreciated. now that i have the boat looking like a complete disaster area with the transom shower, ice maker, and part of the dash removed as well as a 12" X 15" hole cut out beside the helm seat (this will be for a sub) i'm gonna be trying to tackle these projects one at a time OR as i find sweet deals on needed parts. nothing like having absolutely no direction or plan and following it to a "T" 8)
so first i wanted to get everything done that has to do with the dash, mainly replacing my switch actuators and re-wiring so that my arch lights, bilge lights and outside courtesy lights work individually instead of collectively. check those 2 items off the list, they are done.
while the dash was out i wanted to install my Kenwood wired remote too. check that one off too.
i need to pull the instrument cluster panel loose so i can do some further checking on my starboard fuel gauge. it doesn't work so i have some tests to run to see if i can figure out what's up. i'll report back on what i find.
right now i'm in the process of replacing all three bilge blowers. access to these is kinda tough but i'm hoping to be completed with them by the end of this week. i'll keep yuns updated on that as well.
thats all i got for now. if i get to the boat this evening maybe i'll have something else for tomorrow.
