Does anyone have any tips on accessing the raw water impellers on gas 8.2 inboards in a 41PC? I can see the port unit but access is tough. I can't even see the starboard unit.
I have the Cummins diesels so they are different. The port engine raw water pump is very tough. Formula put in a small access hatch in the aft cabin bulkhead but it was way to small to work through so I cut a larger hole and put in a bigger hatch. The mechanic was able to get to it fairly easily then.
