97 41PC shore power...

From what ive seen the shore power cords seem to be wired to the boat. I hate cords and would love to possibly convert to a 50amp single cord that has plugs at both the boat and the dock. Has anyone done this...?

I don't know that I've ever seen a Shore power cord hardwired to the boat if it actually is the previous owner did that...

Oh and converting the 50 is probably way more work than it's worth just get an adapter if that's what you would prefer...single cord.

On the 98 41PC, there are (2) 30amp shore power cords wired directly into the boat (feed the 2 circuit breakers behind the cushion on the transom). Cords are coiled under the stbd aft corner seat, and feed through the door on the stbd side of the transom.

I chose to run a short (8') 30 amp cord and a splitter from the pedestal at the dock. Disconnect quickly, don't have to pull cords out more than a foot or re-coil them when leaving the dock. Just can't run the wife's blow dryer without shutting down an AC circuit.

I guess we should add if you want to run hairdryers you can run a 50 and split it to two 30s essentially give you 2-25 but it would be a single line

Adding a few more pics that may add some detail...
