Hi all,

Anyone interested in a Rendezvous in AC at the Nugget? Deep water slips, electric, cable, nice wide docks? Maybe a Friday and Saturday night stay. Fantail party (bring a dish) on the Dock Saturday afternoon followed by live entertainment on the Deck!

If we get 10+ boats I should be able to get a group discount! Let me know then i will check dates. ;D

PS. if some folks want to come by car you can always stay in the hotel and join the fun! (probably cheaper then fuel for some) or if you come by boat and want to stay in the hotel. Again, group rate may be possible.

Steve, sounds like fun keep me posted on dates and I can see what troops I can round up.

Steve any progress on this? People are inquiring about possible dates so they can schedule their boating schedule accordingly.

I will make up spreadsheet and send to the marina then you call in and make reservation with your cc#

You need to be on the list to be part of the group and get the discount if we get more than 10 boats. They will do there best to keep us all together. If you call in and your not on the list they wont put you in the group.

If you can't go by boat and still want to join the fun let me know and I will arrange a room rate for our group. It wont be cheap being on Fri and Sat night, but better than you would pay off the street...and if you figure in the cost of fuel you woud have spent, its not bad.

Saturday afternoon, 4pm ish we will have a fantail party, bring your favorite dish, enough to share with your fellow Formula friends. Then later that evening we can go up to the Deck and see DON'T CALL ME FRANCIS! Awesome time and great band!

I will be in contact with Formula on Monday and see if we can get some goodies/door prizes etc...

Just had a look at the new pool area at the Nugget today in AC. Very nice bar, hot tubs and plenty of sun lounges!!

I emailed Comstock to see if they want to join the fun. I have about 3 or 4 formulas at my Marina that i am sure will go and also a few non formula's that will join us also.

Plan to have a few more to add shortly. My Sea Ray friends told me that the marina last year put aside a roped off area with some tables for a pot luck dinner for them. Maybe we ask for our Fantail?

he said we should ask to be as close to the deck as possible. Sometime they put transients far out and it is choppy.

Cindy look at you doing all that work getting your posse together. I'm not sure how the organization will go on slip assignments it will be ultimate if we could all be in the vicinity but i'm not so sure how big the one dock goes that backs to the dock i and many of the fastechs can fit at. Steve i'm sure has the answers and location for us. I'm looking forward to this, hopefully the weather doesn't put a botch in our plans.

I have to really start cracking down on my little crew to get some confirmed. Brian with the 400ss has plans already for that weekend so he's out. Brian and Roy may just come down in Roy's 31pc and leave the 292 home. Bill and Maryanne will most likely just drive down one day to visit because they have functions going on that weekend. I have to hard sell my parents and Tony's fam to see if they'll bring down the 312 and 292....

Has anyone got any contact info from the guy who parked next to Steve's 34 with that blue 34?

Yes, I am planing on going to AC for that weekend and I believe a few other Formulas are going as well. Should be a great time.!!!

Hi all,

I will be sending in a list to the marina in the next day or so. Once is send them the list i will let everyone know here on the thread. we have a blocked off amount of slips to start. Once i send them the list then you call in and give them your CC# to reserve the slip. They will give you the confirm. If your not on the list when you call they will take your resevartion but you need to be on the list to get the discount if we get over 10 boats and i think we are there already.

I have asked them to put us together. pretty sure we will be close to bulkhead.

So because Tom is more chatty than me, i am only a newbie and he is a Full Member :D

Thanks Steve to taking care of this. WHen you call them, see if they can get a area for us for the Fantail 4 PM thingie. Regarding slip assignements, I am sure they cant get us all together, but if they could group similar size in a group, that should be fine.

Tom, what about your buddy CJ?
