June 22-23-24 Golden Nugget Atlantic City


I will be in AC tomorrow thru Sunday at the GN. I'm gonna book 6/22 and 6/23 to hang. Hopefully meet new people.
 
So what's the Formula Guest List look like Steve? How many are we up to and what models? Looks like a lot of PCs.

I'm trying to talk the fastechs into joining us. I am trying to get a yes or no from them so I can let you know if we have to add anymore and to call the marina with the info all in one shot.
 
I have 2 FT's from my end on the list plus the ones that RSVP here on the site.

Did anyone get email from Formula? Should have went out today per Tonya. They did update Facebook with the event.

Total on list, all boats is 20 ish. Not sure if they all called in. Will get better count on Monday from Nugget!
 
I called on Friday for my slip reservation for my 292. I also reserved a slip for my fathers 31pc too. Took all of 30 seconds. Should be arriving late morning on Saturday. Actually thinking of running down on the outside if it's nice.
 
Ok add 2 more that are coming down with me Friday evening.

Steve you also mentioned about possibly getting a discount on rooms they are either looking into 2 rooms or one suite to sleep 5.
 
Yes, room block is being set up today, should be ready to call in by tomorrow. If sooner I will post when it's ready. The block will be under "Formula Redezvous". We will get 25% discount off the rate.
 
Ok, IDCE, There and Have a Nice Day have been confirmed with marina. We called about the rooms and the group "Formula Rendezvous" does not exist yet. I will check again later.
 
I love my family, but they are killing this weekend for us!!! I was hoping to get away friday and head down but that doesn't look possible, so saturday it is, by car. I am wondering if Brian is going to trailer his 292 down and drop it in at the marina around the corner when nobone is looking...lmgao... ;D see ya'll there. btw, is anyone going to be at tices for fathers day?
 
Hi all, Spoke to the GM of the marina today, Clyde. He said there are still quite a few boats on the list that did not call and confirm with their credit cards. Lets get busy people!

Also spoke to Chip at Comstock. They will be present and will also be brining a boat to represent ;D. Not sure which one yet.

Hi all, there was a delay in the room discount....it's all set now. Just confirmed with VP casino. Call in and reserve under Formula Rendezvous group! I apologize for the confusion!
 
Bill you know that you and Maryann are more then welcome to make the trip down with us by boat on Saturday morning if you can arrange a ride back home since you can't stay. Actually think my pops is looking for someone to ride down with him too. The offers out there.

Spent the day Saturday detailing the boat. On/Off'd the water line. Scrubbed the bilge. Polished the hull and top deck. Wiped down the vinyl. Realized late in the day that I'm out of 303 and 210, so that will have to wait until Friday afternoon. Threw the full cover back on so that she'll be ready and waiting for Saturday morning.

Is there any agenda for Saturday activities? Ice breaker/meet-n-greet? A Formula run out the inlet? When the fantail starts? Happy hour? Just wondering, not suggesting there needs to any agenda. I'm more then okay with just hanging on the dock meeting and talking to anyone who stops by.
 
So far just the 4pm fantail. If you guys want to add something please feel free!
Don't call me Francis is playing sat night 8:30 on the deck. They are a great band!

We may run over to the cove (brigantine) and beach it for an hour or 2. You also get access to the new pool area and bar on 6th floor.

We will be there around 5pm Friday night!
 
Hello all.....Has anyone heard of Marina Life??? You can join as a member for free or join for $23.99 for the year. You get discounts at many marinas, discounts on slips and gas docks (including Golden Nugget) and much more.

I dont work for them but I'm a member and I think it's pretty cool for the price. As a matter of fact, I'm getting a bunch of stuff mailed to me tomorrow to bring with me the AC to give out to all of you. If I dont see you feel free to find me and I'll give you stuff. I'll probably be on "H" dock where they usually put me from Friday noon through Sunday noon.

Buddy, heard of marina Life, was going to join since we take 2-3 week trips every summer, love to hear more.

And I want to meet Brian...who is dropping in his boat "around hte bend" ;)
 
Only like 20-30 % chance of t-storms, which a given for how hot it's going to be the rest of the week. i wouldn't be worried about it.

Cindy we've meet already. Sorry to disappoint, but I will not be launching around from the ramp around the corner. It's really down the street!
