Underwater Lights

I need to replace my under water lights on my 350SS. Did you fit QT80,S to your boat , are you happy with them and what did they cost.

I did not end up going with the QT80's. I decided to go with the Lumishore TX-403's. A larger investment of over $1200US each but there is plenty of feedback on the web to their quality, durability, and life span. Plus I didn't want to deal with reducing or enlarging the existing holes.

Oh You! went through an extensive rework in 2019. Among other things we installed Shadow-Caster SC-24 underwater lights plus the basic controller. (https://shadow-caster.com/). So far (1-year) we're happy with the performance. Below are some examples. They offer two different controllers. The basic controller has several modes that set and change colors, make them flash, etc. I plan to replace that controller with one that allows programming of colors from Garmin chartplotters, and sync with music. Shadow-casters are manufactured in Florida, but I found the company to be somewhat inconsistent in responding to questions, and their supplier network even more unreliable. They've been around for a decade or more, so that inconsistency is troubling.

I love the blues but anything else just sticks out to me when I am cruising. I have seen some red-themed boats done well but that involves lots of onboard lighting and paint schemes too.
