Hello, My name is Mike out in Long Island redoing a 88 29 PC....My compliments to you with all you did to this boat...looks absolutely great. Mine is the same color scheme... I think many of the Formulas were then. Mine has twin volvo's AC271 with DP290 duoprop.......have an issue with one of the trim cylinders and getting them is not easy! I saw in another post that you added the leds to the bow rail...how did you get the wires through the rail?

Thanks

Mike

I plan on posting pix of my rebuild shortly. I can only hope it comes out nearly as nice.

Digging this out of the archives. Are you still enjoying it?

I am proud to have my 89 242 but have been thinking about a pc for a while. Looked at a few 29s but really want a 26. Tonight I'm heading up to Tennessee to look at and more than likely purchase an 89 26pc.

Yes of course. We dragged it to Florida in the spring for vacation, now we are enjoying the summer at the Jersey Shore. We have another Florida vacay planned for late October so she will be heading back south on I95 then.

Good luck with the purchase.

You really did a great job on this boat, very inspirational, I have a 1988 f29 very similar...how did you get the backrest cushion off the settee?

Mike

"It Don't Come Easy" is closing her 32nd year on the water. It has been a while since this was updated. She is alive and well and now currently is powered by a 502HO with a closed cooling system. I will get back here and fix the pics in the near future. This off season will be her second year stored inside so hopefully some upgrades and work can be completed before the 2021 season.
