Second Annual Middle Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous August 24th, Magothy River


I wonder if he was at Lowes wharf on Sunday.... saw a brand new ssc there. Grey hull all glass, unless that’s the tigger xover.. pretty though
 
I saw he's starting at 1...our noon start should get us a great spot. ;)

Hey everyone, just over a week, so time for a quick update...


First, if you are planning to attend and haven’t either emailed with me, or posted on the Forum, please reach out as soon as you can. I’m trying to make certain we have enough goodies for everyone that shows up. :cool:


Secondly, I haven’t synched up with Andrew yet, but by my count we have 13 boats confirmed! That includes 3 45s, 4 370ss, and a brand new BR! Still no SSC/ASC’s yet…where you guys at? :confused:


The weather looks great…after another scorcher this weekend, we’re looking at low 80’s and partly cloudy for next weekend. Perfect for a little raft-up! If you believe that they can forecast 8 days out.


Now we’re down to just counting the days. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

in case you've missed it previously, i'm the last non-Facebook enabled person. :cool: Andrew has been kind enough to post/follow this event on the local FB Formula page. after adding in his folks, and the few that have responded today, we're up to 19 boats with 3 tentative! crazy good response!!!

we had a mini-flurry of activity over the weekend..up to 23 boats now! going to be a beautiful day too once all of this heat clears. 80 degrees and 40% clouds...perfect for a long day out!! :cool:
 
We're over the hump and only a couple days to the rendezvous! It's going to be a great day, can't wait to see everyone :cool:
 
80 degrees, 20% clouds and a 10-15mph NE breeze. IF you believe they can forecast that far out.

We're going to have such a great turnout I would love to get some cool photos. Anyone coming that has a decent drone for pics?

The family and I eagerly anticipate this outing. Sadly have not had the time to really shine “her”up. Been using her instead! See y’all soon....

Ha! Same here, I did have a chance last weekend to give her a good washing but that was about it.

For anyone coming down from the North, I plan to be at the mouth of Bodkin Creek around 11:15. Should have another 370 SS (K2) with me, just hail us on VHS channel 69.
 
My wife got the dates mixed up. We may be visiting Chestertown, MD on 24th... I will try to post up, but don't anyone miss me to hard if we can't make it :-/
