Second Annual Middle Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous August 24th, Magothy River


ok…t-minus … hours!! we are a go!


can’t believe that it’s almost here, and the weather is looking great. lots of sun, 81 and a 10mph breeze out of the NE. :cool: keep that in mind as you’re cruising the Bay.


just a reminder, bring your fenders, dock lines, and limes! :rolleyes: we’ll be on channel 72 in case you need directions in and to assist with getting tied up.

Thank you Todd and Andrew for coordinating this event. It was great meeting everyone, Debbie and I had a blast.

This morning, I'm shopping for a flag pole, and a matching Formula Yeti Stainless Tumbler.

wow!! what a day! thanks so much to everyone that showed up. the Bay was a little choppy on the way in, so thanks for sticking with it, especially on the longer rides. once inside, we had a perfect day. we had a great time, and really enjoyed meeting everyone that came. we ended up with 18 boats which is amazing! we're looking forward to running into you guys around the Bay!

Also LOVE the Formula beach towel.
Had a great time hearing how Formula supports these boats for decades after they are built, and after most boat makers call it quits.

Hopefully in a few years we can step up to our next bigger, faster Formula :)!

If anyone wants to meet up any other times, just message me, we boat out of Essex, MD and my wife loves trips to small towns. Hopefully we can hit Chestertown, MD next weekend if I get my exhaust back together!

Then we should have one closer to us but I was thinking the same as you, and I would also visit with my family that is down in Annapolis.
 
Of course Todd, you can come! I wanna see that Riviera!! As for all do we need a vote here as to location? I merely thought JFJ for good anchorage music the PITA drinks….(my favorite) but open to other thoughts…
