It seems as if the Bay is slowly clearing from the north. The Susquehanna has fallen back close to normal levels at Port Deposit, although the flow rate is still up a bit. The high water levels pretty much scoured up all the loose floatable debris during the highest flows before the weekend, and the main body is now flowing pretty clear. The issue will come down to how long it will take the mass of debris to work its way out of the Bay, sink, or deposit itself on the shorelines. My hope is that a lot can happen in the next four days, and we will all be able to pick our way in to Still Pond.
