Here is a pic of a debris field just off Sandy Point state park right next to the bridge. Sandy point lighthouse in the background. We live all the way up the Magothy, and we're starting to get some really nasty stuff in our creek.

Bigfish, I'm on the Magothy also at Magothy Marina. Where are you?

We're up in Old Man Creek, like way inside the 6 knot zone. Takes us about 10 minutes to the buoys. I think I've seen your boat at Magothy Marina. We'll take the ski's out and go exploring and I went by it just before the hurricane. Miss the Tiki bar over at Magothy seafood.

Formula goodies packed, Jell-O shots made, strawberries carved out, liquor locker re-stocked, food packed, projector and screen ready for Movie Nights, spare props and tools in the boat, sweatshirts and jeans packed - Good to go.

Don't forget to call in on VHF channel 69 as you arrive....

Let us know asap how the water looks. We would love to come but going north from K.I. looks rough right now. Tons of logs in our back yard by the Narrows.

Thanks, Right now we have 40 MPH winds off the bay and real big white caps on the Narrows. With the boat for sale I am afraid to mess it up since I don't have a single nick on her. Lets hope for the best. You still can't run around Annapolis or the bridge

The winds should lay down tonight, and are predicted to be NE 5-10 knots throughout the weekend. That should serve to continue pushing the debris down the Bay from the Northeast. Can't say what those conditions will do for cleaning out mid-Bay, though.

Just woke up, as of 7AM on the Narrows there is about 30 mph winds plus. It looks like the wind took all the water out of the bay and left a ton of junk. My back yard is full of logs. Don't look like today will be a good day on the water.

We'll all have to call it as we see it. I'm headed down to the marina (Suquehanna) now. Hopefully, it won't be too bad. As of now, the winds are calm in Havre de Grace...

Will see what today brings, as of last night things are still a mess just outside Middle River. Keeping fingers crossed today helps clear things out....so for now still tentative....

We're on station here in Still Pond, ready to start the raftup. Larger cruisers should tie up to the starboard side, where the water is 4', sloping down to 9'. Boats with stern drives, or not staying overnight should tie up to the port side of the raftup. Even at low tide, there will be 3' plus, even at low tide. It's a nice sunny day - shirtsleeve weather!!!

Cool, my brother and I also have skis and go on long runs all the time. We will need to hook up. I have an end slip at Magothy Marina.

We still have 11 boats here until about 3:00 PM, if anyone feels like coming out. The cloud cover is much lighter, and the sun is out more often than not. Thanks to all of those who tried to get here yesterday, but had to turn back!

Saturday was a good time! Would have been there sooner but when we left my tow vehicle died 2 blocks from home. Managed to get it home and switched to the wifes Tahoe and left an hour late.

Cal - Thanks for making it our for the day yesterday. It was great fall weather (although the nights were a bit chilly!), and everyone who showed up was very generous and helpful.

Thanks to all for showing up and/or making the effort to show up! Hopefully, no one suffered any damage from debris. We arrived home unscathed. We saw almost no debris on the way down Friday afternoon, or the way home on Sunday afternoon, and the Bay was virtually calm both days. Unfortunately, it seem that the Bay was considerably rougher on Saturday, and the winds and tides had conspired to push some debris back into the upper parts of the Bay.

Ray will be posting quite a few pictures in the next few days.
