Well, I went and closed on a 2010 Sea Ray Sundancer 580. My 2007 40PC will be up for sale this spring (gotta get her ready) It's been great being a Formula owner. I'll pop in here to lurk from time to time. Thanks for all the great tips. Jeff

Not sure what the difference is between the 07 34PC and 07 40PC but I faced the same issue and solved it with cutting. I managed to fit in 3 Garmin 8612s

So the MV700/5i has different speaker wire connectors (see below). Does this still allow bridging?

Not sure if this is a problem or normal. If I haven't used it for a while (say 1 week) it will take at least a minute of cranking before it starts. I hold down the pre-heat switch for around 20 secs and then the start button. I will release the start button after about 15 secs, and then press...

The TV on the aft wall in the main salon, need to remove it but can't figure out how. In my 34PC there are 2 hex screws that are behind the TV (facing down vertically) and then you can pull it off of the mount. On the 40, it is much tighter to the wall and I don't see those 2 screws. Anyone...

Front hatch in the main salon on 2007 40PC. Has water at the bottom. No raised storage platform or anything over it. Is that normal? If so has anyone built something so they can use it for storage? If not, is there a special pump for it? Thanks, Jeff

So I opened the reservoir cap (arrow in pic below) and stuck a screwdriver into it. The screwdriver only goes in about a quarter inch and hits a piece of metal. Is there another location/dipstick of some sort?
